Terms of Use

1. Medical Disclaimer

The content in the Hormonski Kompas app, including the e-book "Discover Your New Self", nutrition plans and recommendations, is intended exclusively for educational and informational purposes.

We are not a healthcare institution: The owners of the app and its authors are not licensed physicians.

Not medical advice: The information does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Consult your doctor: Before making any changes to your diet, lifestyle or hormonal balance, always consult your personal physician. Use of the information in the app is at your own risk.

2. Usage Plans, Free Trial and Subscription

Free plan: The free plan allows up to 6 ingredient analyses (AI Lens) per month. All other app content is accessible free of charge without limitations.

14-day free trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial of the paid subscription with unlimited AI analyses and all premium features. When the trial ends, access automatically returns to the free plan (6 analyses/month) unless you choose a subscription. The free trial does not include the e-book, which is a separate purchase.

Paid subscription: A subscription unlocks unlimited use of all app features. Subscription options and current prices are displayed in the app and in the App Store or Google Play checkout at the time of purchase. Prices vary by country and currency and may change; any change applies from your next billing period. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

One-time purchase – e-book: The e-book "Discover Your New Self" is available as a separate one-time purchase and is not included in the subscription. The purchase is permanent and independent of your subscription status.

Payment and management: Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with your account settings. You manage your subscription and purchases directly through your Apple ID or Google Play account. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their policies.

Restoring purchases: If you have already made a purchase and wish to restore it (e.g. after reinstalling), use the "Restore purchases" option in the app settings.

3. Digital Content and Intellectual Property

Subscriber licence: With an active subscription you receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use all of the app's tools (unlimited AI Lens, calendar, tips, recipes and other premium content).

E-book licence: With a one-time purchase of the e-book you receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to view the content within the app. The purchase is permanent and independent of your subscription status.

No sharing: Copying, screen recording, reproduction or distribution of content outside the app is strictly prohibited. All material is the property of the Hormonski Kompas brand.

4. User Content (Reviews and Comments)

Zero tolerance: Posting offensive, hateful or inappropriate comments is prohibited.

Right to removal: We reserve the right to remove content and block users who violate the rules.

5. Account Deletion and Data

Right to deletion: You may delete your account at any time in the app settings. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems.

Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

6. Limitation of Liability

We accept no liability for data loss or app downtime caused by outages of external services (Firebase, Google Cloud). The app is subject to Apple's standard licence agreement (EULA).

7. Personal Data Protection and Storage

By using the app, you consent to the collection and processing of data necessary for the operation of its services.

What data we collect: Name, email address, age group, goals and data you enter in questionnaires, as well as images you upload to AI Lens for ingredient analysis.

Purpose of processing: Data is used exclusively to provide personalized advice, analyze ingredients with the help of artificial intelligence (Google Gemini AI), and manage subscriptions and purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Secure storage: Your data is securely stored in the cloud (Firebase/Google Cloud) and is not accessible to unauthorized persons. We never sell your data to third parties.

AI analysis: When you use the AI Lens feature, uploaded images are processed through the Google Gemini service via secure cloud functions. Images are discarded immediately after analysis and are not stored. Your images are not used for public AI model training without your explicit consent.

Your rights (GDPR): In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, correct it, or completely delete your account and all associated data through the app settings.

Who We Are

What Data We Collect

Account data: Name and email address when signing in with your Google account.

Profile data: Age group, body measurements, health goals and cycle data that you enter voluntarily.

Images for analysis: Images of ingredients you upload to the AI Lens feature. These images are processed and discarded immediately after analysis — we do not store them.

Activity data: Step count and movement data, if you allow access to Health / Google Fit.

Technical data: Anonymous error and performance data used to improve the service.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide and improve the app's services, personalize recommendations and advice, analyze ingredients with the help of Google Gemini AI, and manage subscriptions and purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Sharing Data with Third Parties

We do not sell your data to third parties. To operate the app, we work with the following services:

Google Firebase – secure data storage and authentication.

Google Gemini AI – ingredient image analysis (images are discarded after analysis).

Apple App Store / Google Play Store – payment and subscription processing.

Data Security

Your data is stored in a secure Firebase/Google Cloud environment with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to data is strictly limited.

Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, and completely delete your account and all data. You can delete your account directly in the app settings or contact us at the email address below.

Age Restriction

The app is intended for users aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Account Deletion

How to Delete Your Account in the Hormonski Kompas App

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in the Hormonski Kompas app at any time.

Steps to delete your account:

1. Open the Hormonski Kompas app on your device.
2. Sign in with your Google account.
3. Go to Settings (gear icon).
4. Select "Delete account".
5. Confirm the deletion.

Alternatively — deletion request by email

If you no longer have access to the app, send an account deletion request to our email address:

Include the email address linked to your account in the request. We will process the request within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, all of your personal data is permanently removed, including:

• Basic account data (name, email)
• Profile data (age, goals, body measurements)
• Cycle and hormonal health data
• AI Lens analysis history
• All other data you entered in the app

Note on subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You must cancel the subscription separately in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

Data that may be retained

For legal reasons and/or fraud prevention, some data may be retained for up to 30 days after account deletion before it is permanently erased from all systems.
